![]() While you are not required to complete each and every level in the game, you may not pass any tiles unless you have conquered that space on the map. The primary feature of each world are the regular stages, which are marked with a level number. 3 consists of a set of tiles which are connected via paths. 3 / Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros.Each of the eight worlds in Super Mario Bros. Power-ups: 1 ( Super Mushroom or Super Leaf). ![]() In the NES version of this level, everything in this level except the pipe, the power-up, and the dark parts of Boom Boom's skin is gray. Defeating Boom Boom by jumping on his head three times will clear the fortress level and unlock a gate below on the map to a Warp Pipe and a Toad House. The door after the fourth platform will also raise and lower accordingly, and will take the player to Boom Boom's room when they go through it. The next room has platforms covered with spikes that continuously raise and lower, along with two Boos placed above. Afterward is a series of Thwomps the player must dodge in order to reach the door at the end of the hall. Past the Boo is a Warp Pipe that will take the player to the floor above, which has a Thwomp over a row of spikes. ![]() Continuing down the hall, the player will come across Thwomps and more Dry Bones, as well as a Boo after the second Thwomp. The player starts at the top of a small set of stairs with Dry Bones at the bottom.
